There is a little box of the top of the assignment area that says SHOW ALL.  Click on that box to see all listed assignments.  The SHOW ALL box is also available for attendance, behavior, and other records.

The Cabrillo PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is very supportive of students and staff at Cabrillo!  They raise over $40,000 each year to support student activities, keep a positive school climate, and to supplement the district budget with supplies to benefit students.  Family members are encouraged to get involved in PTO by attending PTO meetings, chaperoning field trips, volunteering at school, helping the Hospitality Committee, or making financial donations.  All support is welcome!

Students who are in our amazing music program are additionally supported by the Cabrillo Music Boosters, and students on athletic teams get support from their coaches and the community.  Contact the Music teacher, Mr. Boccali, or individual coaches, to support these programs.

To clear an absence, call the following number (24 hours a day), Attendance: 641-5155 ext. 1001

* You need to call EVERY DAY to clear an absence.

* You are given three days to clear an absence. After that it will remain as unexcused.

* Please bring a doctor's note to excuse medical/dental appointments. This note will only excuse for the time at the your appointment. Students are expected to come to school before and/or after appointments.

Please give the office a note with the dates your child will be absent. It is the student's responsibility to ask his/her teachers if missed worked can be made up. Please remember that being out of school for reasons other than illness, bereavement (immediate family), medical appointment, religious observance, or subpoena are counted as unexcused under the law.

You may call and have the office staff request homework from the teachers the morning of the 3rd day of your child's absence due to illness or check on Q Parent Connect for assignments.

If your child is late, he/she must check in the office BEFORE going to class and get a pass to class.

• The first bell rings at 8:50 a.m. This bell is a signal for students to get to class.
• The tardy bell rings at 8:55 a.m. Students must be in their classrooms and ready to start work at this time.

Electronic Use Policy at Cabrillo Middle School 
All cell phones, headphones, ear buds, and Mp3 players should be turned off and in backpacks while at Cabrillo Middle School. Students may use their electronic devices ONLY after the school day is over. If it is the child’s second offense, a parent will be required to pick up the electronic device from the Cabrillo administration. Please speak with your child and reinforce this policy at home.
